 Whereas Middlebury College represents the highest standards in a postsecondary education, the area is also home to quality elementary and secondary educational schools. The town is a part of the Addison Central School District, which includes Middlebury Union Senior High School, the Patricia Hannaford Career Center, Middlebury Union Middle School, and Mary Hogan Elementary School. Parents also may choose from five private elementary schools: Aurora School, Bridge School, Mary Johnson’s Children Center, Quarry Hill School, and St. Mary’s School.
